Back in 2013, some 20 months before Jason and I started DC on SCREEN, my brother-in-law (and close friend since 2003) Spencer Roeder contacted me with an idea to record our own rendition of the Campbell Playhouse Presents “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, Orson Welles, and his Mercury Theater, originally performed on Christmas Eve 1939. This was to be a Christmas gift for our family. And in that spirit, I pass it on to you, dear patron.

CAST

Ashley Roeder - Jacob Marley, The Ghost of Christmas Past, Belle, Mrs. Cratchit, and Boy.

Brittany Roberson - The Ghost of Christmas Present, Martha Cratchit, Gentlemen, Man 1, and served as Executive Producer

Spencer Roeder -  The Narrator (but NOT Orson Welles as the play was originally written), Bob Cratchit, Belle’s husband, Fred, Man 2, Tiny Tim, and served as the Executive Editor

David C. Roberson -  Ebenezer Scrooge, Fezziwig, and Orson Welles.

We are not actors, and the audio is representative of our skillset at the time.

This is presented here, in my mind, as a laugh. Have one on us and at our expense as our blood kin did before you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Thank you for your support.
