Jason's Pull List - Superman #13 (Patreon Exclusive)

Support us on Patreon to get this exclusive episode!

On this episode of Jason's Pull List we dive into Superman 13 of the Bryan Michael Bendis run and I drag Dave into the mix. Why? Because Bendis is doing some heavy stuff and things are getting deep.  Why Dave?  Because I have the power to torture him, intermittently, and today I chose to exercise that right.  We also get into the Snyder run of Metal, the New Justice series, Justice League Odyssey, the current Batman run with Tom King, The Signal... and probably more.  Look, it was a long conversation and I did my best to answer Dave's questions.  Let me know what I missed!

Sure, we start off talking about how my Skype profile pictures look like I'm a drug dealer, and the conversation branches from there... and yeah, there are some strange asides in here, but mostly (Like, seriously, by and large) we're talking about 'Spider-man: Far From Home'... We really wind up having a lot of fun this episode. Like I was laughing hard enough that it hurt by the end of this thing. So. Enjoy?

Jason's Pull List - Batman Damned (Patreon Exclusive)

Batman by Jim Lee

Support us on Patreon to get this exclusive episode!

So Batman Damned was a hell of a story.  Some parts of this I liked and some parts just didn't sit right.  Get into the nitty-gritty of this amorphous and daring story with me as we look into Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo's inaugural Black Label offering.  We question: is Joker dead, what's motivating Harley, is Batman dead, is Constantine's role obvious, what's with the man in the green hood, and what the hell is up with all the Bat-penis shenanigans, and more!  Let me know what you think, and thank you, as always for being here!

Jason's Pull List - Last Knight on Earth 1 (Patreon Exclusive)

Support us on Patreon to get this exclusive episode!

Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's time with the Bat has been groundbreaking, to put it very mildly.  I would venture to say that Snyder has done as much as any writer in Batman's history to add to and expand the mythos of Gotham City, and it looked fantastic because Capullo has been beside him the whole way.  But this is it.  This is where the story ends for them.  Batman wakes up in a desert in the future and finds his old bestie Joker's head in a jar.  And somehow the head is alive and talkative.  So the two go off on their way to seek adventure and glory in this strange, new world.
