SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #162 - Legends of Tomorrow 1x12 - Last Refuge | Review - Go with Ray if you want to live... and see Baby Snart. The Pilgrim is travelling back to previous points in time, attempting to kill Rip Hunter’s crew. She can only attempt to murder each person once without upsetting the timeline. Rip and crew rescue adolescent Mick Rory and Sara Lance, 2014 Ray Palmer, and the baby Snart, Stein, and Jackson. They take them to a secret location called The Refuge, a place where orphans throughout time can be taken care of and trained for the eventual duty of being a Time Master. If their past selves are out of the timeline for too long, time will cement, and they will no longer be remembered. The Pilgrim captures the team’s loved ones and holds them hostage. Rip offers the Pilgrim himself as a child, and as the team double crosses The Pilgrim in order to distract her, young Rip Hunter stabs her long enough to keep her from freezing time and stopping the Legends of Tomorrow from turning her to a pile of ash. Meanwhile, Kendra and Ray get engaged over much emotional tumult, Jax tries to save his father from an IDE destiny, and time starts to cement leaving Rip and crew with the notion that they should take the fight to 2167 to where Vandal Savage is his most powerful…

SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #160 - Lucifer 1x12 #TeamLucifer | Review - The punches connect, and so does this episode of Lucifer -- FINALLY! A ritualistic satanic sacrifice has Lucifer up in arms while attempting to remain at arms length from Det Decker after realizing that she makes him mortal. The suspect in the murder then turns up sacrificed as well, and some clues point to Lucifer while another points to a disturbed street preacher who accosts Lucifer in public. Of course, it is Malcolm, formerly of Hell, who rescues Lucifer from harming the preacher publicly, and of course it is Malcolm who is caught quite literally red-handed. Lucifer is livid that Malcolm would do such things in his honor, but Amenadiel shows up to confront Lucifer about Maze (who has been having sex with Amenadiel and kinda almost killed Amenadiel with a demon blade before hesitating because of her feelings, but Amenadiel caught her and doesn’t realize her feelings… So big fight between Lucifer and Amenadiel. Maze brings them the daggers and tells them to kill each other because she’s done being their pawns. Amenadiel leaves. Lucifer begins to drink and nurse his wounds, and Chloe comes by, but puts Lucifer under arrest when she finds the street preacher murdered beside the bar.

SPOILER/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #158 - Supergirl 1x20 - Better Angels [SEASON FINALE] | Review - Hope works in the season finale. Maybe it will work in getting a second season! This episode picks up where the last left off, with Kara in coerced combat with her Non-controlled sister Alex. But J’onn brings Alex’s mother to talk her out of being brainwashed—and it works. This fuels the belief that Supergirl broadcasting a message of hope will stop Myriad—and it works. Everyone is freed of the Myriad mojo, but Non and Indigo decide to amp it up to pop everyone’s brains open. J’onn effortlessly breaks free of the bonds General Lane placed him in to help Kara, Lucy as head of the DEO is on board with that, and Kara goes to everyone saying goodbye as she, thanks to a deep talk with Max Lord, believes that the only way to stop Non and Indigo may be to sacrifice herself. Kara and J’onn fight Non and Indigo. J’onn rips Indigo in half, and Supergirl eye-blasts her uncle to death? Or blindness? I don’t know. Kara then flies Fort Rozz into outer space where she begins to suffocate in the cold of space? And Alex rescues her by using Kara’s own space pod. Afterward, J’onn is reinstated as head of the DEO, Cat gives Kara a promotion, James gives kara a kiss and a picture, and everything is so happy and wonderful and then some shit falls from the sky—another Kryptonian pod containing TO BE CONTINUED.

SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #150 - Arrow 4x18 - Eleven-Fifty-Nine | Review - After months of speculation, the question is finally answered. Damien Darhk, as if you couldn't have guessed, was the dirty deeder, and he placed one of Ollie's arrows into Larurel Lance to keep his word to Quentin. Even worse, Darhk only had the upper hand in the fight because Andy Diggle betrayed the team (as Oliver said he would) leaving John blaming himself for Laurel's death. It's a tough world these characters live in. Anyway, sit back and enjoy (or re-live) our thoughts (both good and bad) on this episode of Arrow!

The heroin junkie ex-employee? The protege sous chef? It's anyone's guess. Meaning, anyone could easily guess correctly. Throw in Rebecca De Mornay playing the same role she played in Marvel's Jessica Jones (Sigh! Again? Really?), Mazikeen looking for a friend, and Lucifer's daddy issues, Malcolm murdering Dan... Oh, is that not in every episode? and you have another tepid episode of Lucifer. What did you think of this episode?
