SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #269 - The Flash 3x07 - Killer Frost | Recap & Review - The God of Speed takes Barry for a run and just beats the ever-loving hell out of him. Cisco vibes over with Caitlin just in time to save him, but it costs her dearly as Killer Frost starts to manifest and take over. She snaps into villain mode in a desperate quest to find Dr Alchemy and get rid of her powers, attacking Alchemy’s followers and kidnapping Julian to help track him down. The Flash tracks her down and she empties the bag, revealing to Cisco that his brother was alive before Flashpoint, which does not go over well. She escapes and wounds Barry so it’s Cisco that captures her later. They lock her away in STAR Labs for the time being. Meanwhile, Joe decides he can’t trust science with this one and takes a saw to Wally’s cocoon. He emerges as a speedster, but his mind hasn’t caught up with his body so he takes off aimlessly. Barry knows he’ll need Caitlin’s help to fix Wally so he lets Killer Frost out of lockup with only one demand: she has to execute him to leave this room. Caitlin proves she’s still herself as she overcomes her inner Killer Frost and they hug it out. She develops a serum to help Wally that works like a dream. Barry tries to tie up a loose end and talks to Julian, who now knows that Caitlin is a Meta. He agrees to protect her secret but only if Barry resigns immediately. Barry agrees and cleans out his office. Finally, Savitar shows up to re-enlist the help of Dr Alchemy, who is really Julian Albert...

It’s okay though because Winn folds with record speed to Alex’s interrogation but now she can ask Maggie to back off Guardian, who eventually does clear his name after all. Hank Henshaw is alive and Super well. He’s Cyborg Superman now and he and Cadmus need a little bit of Supergirl blood. After capturing Mon-el last episode, Cyborg Superman puts the kibosh on Supergirl’s escape mission and throws her in the cell next to him so they can have heart-to-hearts. Cadmus forces her to Super Flare so she’ll be vulnerable, then takes a blood sample. The two captives later escape thanks to none other than Jeremiah, who has been fooling Cadmus the whole time and is super proud of his daughters. Alex agrees to try to remain friends with Maggie, while Mon-el asks about whether Kara is mated with anyone. Finally, Hank shows us that the blood was needed to break into the Fortress of Solitude and ask about a project called MEDUSA. Meanwhile, J’onn learns that due to M’Gann saving his life, he is now turning into a white martian while there may be hope for Alex and Maggie after all.

SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #267 - Lucifer 2x09 - Homewrecker | Recap & Review  - The new owner of Lux wants to sell everything and piss off his dead father’s ghost.  Lucifer hastily leaves the scene of an investigation to deal with a problem at Lux, only to find that his precious home and shrine to debauchery is to be closed and turned into a shopping mall.  His efforts to convince a string of new owners to reconsider lead him back to Chloe and her homicide.  Luci can’t talk anyone out of the shopping mall though, so he resorts to partying so hard that the movers physically cannot perform their job.  Even Chloe helps.  Mom kicks her evil machinations into overdrive as she sleeps with Dan and tries to blow up Lux so her son won’t have a reason not to help her anymore.  Lucifer’s big bash thwarts her efforts since the club isn’t empty and she resorts to just trying to blow up Chloe.  This week’s murder solved, Chloe reveals to Lucifer that she’s pulled some strings and gotten Lux classified as a historical landmark, protecting eternally from bulldozers and shopping malls.  He demands she let him at least take her to dinner for such an extraordinary gesture and she agrees.  He stands her up, however, after his therapist points out that he may have stronger feelings for Chloe than he’d like to admit.  A highly annoyed Chloe leaves the restaurant in a huff where we find that Lucifer’s Mom has repurposed her bomb to be Chloe-sized.

SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #263 - Vixen - Season 2 | Recap & Review - Mere weeks following the events of season 1, Mari crashes a lecture by traitorous-yet-apologetic Professor Macalaster who tells her (and a hall full of intellectual types) about the five Zambezi totems earth, fire, air, water, and spirit (sounds like the planeteers) of which they have found one: fire.  Mari of course has the spirit totem. He reveals they’ll be keeping it at the Detroit Museum. Cisco calls Mari to help with a situation with Weather Wizard, who has created a number of tsunamis at Monument Point, and Mari gets hurt stopping him.  Meanwhile, the fire totem is stolen from the Museum. Mari searches for the thief, and finds Benatu Eshu of Zambezi.  Eshu claims that Mari looks just like her mother and then kicks her ass with fancy new fire totem powers! Mari and Macalester go to find her sister Kuasa in an African hospital, and she suggests going with them to find the water totem which just happens to be in Star City.  Kuasa of course double-crosses Mari, but is stopped by Mari’s plan B, The Atom and Black Canary. Eshu begins destroying Detroit.  Kuasa and Mari with the help of Atom and Black Canary try to stop him.  Eshu kills Kuasa, and after he defeats Black Canary and Atom, Mari fights him and drowns him.  At Macalaster’s instruction, Mari summons all the strength of her animal spirits to crush the fire totem to destroy its power. At the end, Mari decides to team up with Arrow, Flash, and a number of other heroes as they take on a new, undisclosed threat.

Download Lucifer 2x08 – Trip to Stabby Town | Recap & Review

SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN # 258 - Azrael’s blade has made its way to human hands.  Some cursory investigation reveals that Charlotte is involved.  After being confronted by Lucifer she admits to unleashing the blade in an attempt to get God’s attention so she could mourn with him about the death of Uriel.  Azrael’s blade, still at large, makes its way to another crime scene, where it is finally seized by Detective Dan.  Realizing who has the blade, Lucifer confronts him.  Dan accuses him of ruining his marriage and stealing his pudding.  The blade wants Dan to go to Stabby Town but Dan somehow resists, which gets him a little bit of street cred from Lucifer.  Linda is still way freaked out by the fact that she’s done the dirty with Satan himself, but realizes he’s just a troubled soul who needs the help of a competent therapist.  Elsewhere, Ella takes a leap of faith and helps Lucy with a burial site investigation, which seems to make Chloe a little jelly.
