 'Supergirl' 1x01 'Pilot' Review

Flying quickly between tired, played-out superhero procedural, fresh new feministic jam, frantic frivolous cheese fest, and badass action drama, 'Supergirl' is uneven at best. It's not the comic book adaptation we necessarily want or need. We have so many to choose from these days... It may appear too heavy-handed at times. It seems that it's trying a bit too hard. One short trip to Nanda Parbat later, and they're ready to start haggling with the new Ra's al Ghul over whether or not they're allowed to restore Sara's dead body in the Lazarus pit. Oh, also, they totally want to fix Thea's burgeoning bloodlust. Speaking of restoration, Felicity has decided she's had enough of Oliver and Diggle acting like a couple of children.
